Make your wig look like your own hair

Straight out of the box, most wigs need some tailoring to look natural. At our wig personalisation appointment in Tilbury, Debbie Wiseman cuts, thins and shapes your wig to frame your face, then styles it the way you like to wear your hair. Debbie is professionally trained by Trevor Sorbie, accredited by My New Hair and has over 40 years of hairdressing experience.

What is included

  • A cut and shape to suit your face, including the fringe, hairline and layers.
  • Fit adjustments so the wig sits securely and comfortably.
  • Styling to the finish you want, with tips for recreating it at home.
  • Aftercare advice on washing, drying and storing your wig.

The appointment takes around an hour in our private wig room and costs £35.

    I’m currently undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. Was recommended by a family member to go and see Debbie down here who specialises in wigs as loosing my very long hair has been the hardest part for me! Was made to feel so comfortable from the minute I walked in and was taken into a private room for the free consultation which I thought was a lovely touch for privacy. Was very overwhelmed as the colours just didn’t feel right and it wasn’t my own hair! But Debbie ordered it in in a couple of other shades to try and match my own hair colour. These came in within a couple of days and I did think what’s the point of going, I’m still not going to like as it’s not my own hair. I’m so glad I did! I cried but happy tears as I felt like me again! Was made to feel so comfortable and was made to feel totally confident in putting it on myself and how to care for it before I left. Amazing price aswell as I know others who have paid hundreds more for one and I couldn’t warrant that money. Came out with the biggest smile I’ve had in months and that’s all down to Debbie.
